As we were waiting for the previous passengers to depart the plane that would soon take us back to Sacramento, Scout was sleeping on our laps and getting a lot of attention. The captain of the plane was one of the people who came over to say hello to her. Turns out, he has 2 Westies at home, and thought she was pretty cute. We were quite amused when he mentioned her in his
in flight announcement.
The flight went well, besides a mild delay at SeaTac for de-icing we had a good flight and arrived in Sacramento at 10:05. Which apparently was the best time to fly, since right after we left a little blizzard moved into Seattle, leaving 5" of snow on the ground in some places! (See photo above) Scout did great, she whimpered a bit in the beginning but once we opened up the top of her crate a little bit so she could see us, she fell asleep before we even took off. It was nice to come home to a clean apartment and just pass out. Today we'll just be relaxing and
We managed to really cram it in the last day seeing a ton of people we hadn't yet. We managed to see Dave and Kara, Andrew (second from the right in the picture above) and his family (John, Barbara and Kelsey), Mark, AP and our old friend the Greenlake 3 par (the eye of the storm apparently, as the weather was warm and sunny!) It was really nice to get to see everyone, but unfortunately as par for this trip, everything was a bit short and rushed. We've definitely learned a lesson, and we'll be inviting people to meet us somewhere next time as opposed to us
We're looking to seeing everyone again soon and we'll see how things go this quarter. Thanks again for everyone's hospitality and making time for us. It was a fun spring...winter...a fun break.
(Pictured below: While sunny, the precipitation shows on Aaron's tee shot onto the green...which plugged halfway in.)

The upside about all 4 of us not spending time together, is now you guys have to come up again sooner than you were planning on. ;)
